Bio
I am equal parts musician and scientist. My sound is not rooted in any one style, form or tradition, but in the past I’ve described it as “woodsy psychedelia” or “experimental”. This comes from my past experimentations with musique concrète, post-punk, and African folk music. These days, I’m studying classical music techniques with the aim of creating music that smiles at you and maybe even invites you in for tea. My parents immigrated to the states from Côte d’Ivoire, but I was born and raised in suburban Virginia. The result is a deeply spiritual aesthetic that challenges time and sonic reality. It comes from expressing my vivid imagination through pure, unadulterated vulnerability.
